Sentry Ratchet Kayak and Canoe Tie Downs (2-Pack)

Our rope is made of Super tough braided polypropylene which is high strength, low stretch, UV resistant and corrosion resistance. The diameter of the rope is 1/4", with useful working load up to 150 lbs, making it suitable for safely securing light and medium-weight loads.

The ratchet and S Hook are made of zinc plated Alloy Steel, which is stronger and more durable. The shell is made of high-strength plastic and has a fully enclosed structure to protect the ratchet from long-term operation.

The rotating spool with interior die cast zinc ratchet mechanism ensures that the rope automatically ratchets through and is tightened. Easily release tension by pushing up the thumb ratchet strap lever with one finger. This convenient ratchet system eliminates worries about stretching, snapping back or loosening.

The package includes 2 PCS 10 ft adjustable ratchet tie down ropes and 2 PCS 10 ft spare ropes. The ratchet rope can be adjusted from 1 foot to 10 feet on its own, and the spare ropes can be used to increase the length of the rope to 20 feet, making it suitable for all sizes of kayaks and canoes.

Since 2017, we have made two improvements to meet customer needs. In August 2017, we increased the length of the rope from 8 ft to 10 ft. In June 2020, we added 2 PCS 10ft extra ropes to each package, resolving all problems regarding length and making it suitable for all kinds of kayaks and canoes.

The original package includes 2 PCS 1/4" x 10' ratchet tie down ropes with S hook and 2 PCS 1/4" x 10' extra ropes. It is important to never exceed the working load limit, inspect before each use, and always protect the rope from sharp or abrasive surfaces.

For use with vehicles, kayaks, canoes, or other applications that don't have useable anchor points, you may need to purchase additional accessories such as hood trunk tie down loops, kayak toggle handles, or tie down straps.
